Chapter 12

By the time the team arrived on Formil, Adam was familiar with the story of the Juirean attack on the Klin Colony Ship designated KL-4. It was one of a dozen such attacks that were launched. All failed, even though three of the Colony Ships were damaged enough that they had to move off station. Reports came in, showing that when the stations were damaged, control over hundreds of worlds was lost, if temporarily.

All the Colony Ships had been located by then, and when the count suddenly jumped to fifty-one, even counting the ones out of commission, the Juireans realized they were fighting an uphill battle. They lost over three hundred fifty ships and thousands of Juireans and had nothing to show for it; in fact, the Klin added a ship to their column.
